WHY DON’T YOU OFFER STANDARD PACKAGES LIKE OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?

I noticed that several couples always wanted something from package one & three, or two & four. But they may not have needed everything that was in the highest package, but they also wanted more than what was in the smallest package. By using a “build your own” system, couples can pick and choose exactly what they want, and what they can afford. While initially our prices may seem high, they are actually lower than the average photographer as we do not charge any additional hourly fees (we are there from start to finish), we do not charge extra for the CD of your images, and we do not charge extra for special effects.

HOW EXACTLY DOES “BUILD YOUR OWN PACKAGE” WORK?

There are 3 steps. You pick your coverage, you pick your options, and you add everything up and that is your total cost. The album is not selected or paid for until AFTER the wedding.

WHY AREN’T THERE PRINTS IN ANY OF THE OPTIONS?

You will receive all the digital images on a high resolution CD. we also provide the release so that you may order your prints from any local or online lab of your choice. We do not charge an extra fee for your digital negatives as many photographers do, which in turn allows us to pass the savings on to you. *You also receive a $100-$125 print credit. The credit can be used to order actual prints from Amunet Studios. *Print credit not applicable for proof sets.

DO YOU OFFER PARENT’S ALBUMS?

The albums listed can be purchased for the couple or as parent’s albums. We noticed that many parents didn’t want the smaller album as traditionally offered; therefore we decided to leave this choice up to the couple and the parents to decide what is best for them and their budget.

WHY IS THERE A CHARGE FOR PRE-CEREMONY SHOTS?

Pre-ceremony images actually means taking the images of you “getting ready” for your big day at a

SEPARATE location from the ceremony site (such as a hair salon, home, etc). If you plan to get dressed at the ceremony site, then there is no additional fee for pre-ceremony.

WHICH ALBUM IS THE MOST POPULAR?

The 10x10, 10 pages, non-leather flush mount album.

WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL WEDDING DAY SCHEDULE?

We arrive 1.5 hours prior to ceremony start time and begin with pre-ceremony shots Then we start formal shots (Bride, Bride with Bridesmaid, & Bride with immediate family…Groom, Groom with Groomsmen, & Groom with immediate family). Then we shoot the ceremony and after the ceremony we finish with additional formal shots (Bride & Groom with families, Bride & Groom with entire party, and Bride & Groom). Finally we head to the reception. If Bride & Groom elect to see each other prior to the ceremony, which is HIGHLY recommended, Amunet Studios  will arrive 3 hours prior to the ceremony. This allows everyone to proceed immediately to reception following the ceremony.

WHERE ARE ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS SHOT, WHAT DO WE WEAR?

Engagement sessions are shot at a location of your choice. If it is within Covington/Atlanta city limits then there are no additional travel fees. We have shot at parks, college campuses, gardens, etc. As far as clothing, solid colors work best or clothing with minimal patterns. Keep in mind the setting that

you will be in. I recommend wearing something you might wear to a nice dinner. For men, a nice button down shirt maybe a sports coat, even paired with jeans makes a very nice look. For women, a cute dress or top and heels (but bring comfortable shoes). Women, this is a great chance for that practice run on hair

and make-up. Please be sure to iron and wear clean clothes!

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES?

Please allow 4-6 weeks for post-production and delivery of CD, 2-3 weeks for prints, and 6-10 weeks for album design and delivery. Allow 2-3 additional weeks during peak wedding season.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?

Yes, after your initial $300.00 non-refundable retainer fee, your final balance is due 7 days prior to your wedding.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

There is no refund on the retainer fee unless Amunet Studios is unable to provide the services rendered. This is due to the fact that once we have reserved your date; any potential clients who request your date are refused service. This could result in potential profit lost for Amunet Studios. As with any business or job, your time is money. It is no different with a self-employed photographer. Once you have signed a contract with Amunet Studios, we immediately go to work long before the wedding.we begin a process of “client bookkeeping”. This includes utilizing our financial resources and time to create a client folder, sending and replying to emails, meeting with you, phone calls, website updates, and not to mention office supplies (ink, paper, pens, staples, envelopes, etc) used for said record keeping purposes. So depending on when you cancel, will determine what is due and what the cancellation fee will be. Please see the cancellation schedule below:

• 90 or Less Days: Cancellations received 90 (ninety) or less days prior to the scheduled contracted event date does not release the Client from making payments regardless if a need for the service(s)/package (s) still exists. All monies paid to Photographer shall be liquidated damages for breach of contract by Client and are non-refundable. The Client shall incur a Cancellation Fee

that is equal to the amount of the complete/full invoice balance due at the time of cancellation if cancellation is received 90 or less days prior to the scheduled event date. The Cancellation Fee is due immediately at the time cancellation is received. (FULL BALANCE STILL DUE IF CANCELLED WITHIN 90 DAYS OF WEDDING DATE)

• 91 to 180 Days: Cancellations received 91 (ninety-one) to 180 (one- hundred eighty) days prior to the scheduled contracted event date does not release the Client from making payments regardless if a need for the service(s)/package(s) still exists. All monies paid to Photographer shall be liquidated damages for breach of contract by Client and are non-refundable. The Client shall incur a Cancellation Fee that is equal to the amount of one-half (1/2) of the complete/full

invoice balance due at the time of cancellation if cancellation is received 91 to 180 days prior to the scheduled event date. The Cancellation Fee is due immediately at the time cancellation is received. (HALF OF THE BALANCE IS DUE IF CANCELLED BETWEEN 91-180 DAYS OF WEDDING DATE)

• 181 or More Days: All monies paid to Photographer shall be liquidated damages for breach of contract by Client and are non-refundable if cancellation is received 181 or more days prior to the scheduled event date. No further balance due. (NO ADDITIONAL PAYMENT DUE IF CANCELLED MORE THAN 181 DAYS PRIOR TO WEDDING DATE),

In other words, there are NO REFUNDS from Amunet Studios regardless of reason (to include dissolution of relationship, family emergencies, date changes, natural disasters, military call of duties, war, illness, school, employment situations, accidents, injuries, etc). To prevent this, you can avoid making additional payments until you are closer to your wedding date and certain it will not change. Only in the event of DEATH of BRIDE OR GROOM will the contract be void and no further payments will be due (this still does not mean refunds will be issued, it only means your balance will be void). In the event we are unable to perform services, payments will then be refunded.

WHAT IF THERE IS A DATE CHANGE?

If there is a date change, any retainer fee and payments can be moved to the newly requested date if it is available. If the date is not available, there is no refund on retainer fee and you may request cancellation of contract. Please see the cancellation schedule above for cancellation guidelines and fees. Please

consider wedding insurance if you think you may need to protect yourself from such unforeseeable events.

CAN I ORDER MY ALBUM AFTER THE WEDDING?

Wedding Albums can ONLY be purchased AFTER the wedding. We will not accept payments for albums prior to ceremony.

WHEN IS THE BRIDAL SESSION/ENGAGEMENT SESSION DONE AND WHERE?

It is your choice. Keep in mind it can take 2-3 weeks for post-production. Many clients prefer to schedule the Bridal Session after the wedding to prevent any damage to the dress.
